The absence of sufficient bins was frustrating, forcing me to carry trash around. Plus, no on-site laundry service? A long trek to find a coin laundry is a sore spot, especially when you're running full on Tokyo time.

the hotel insisted on using those ancient room keys, which left me waiting in lines at the reception, absolutely ridiculous. also, the staff hardly spoke English, making my pleas fall on deaf ears when I asked for assistance. how could I possibly review positively when I didn't even get an upgrade for the inconvenience I endured?
